I grew up in a family with a strong connection to both arts and technology, where I was exposed to creative thinking from a young age. Influenced by skateboarding and electronic music culture, I started organizing outdoor parties and designing sets and lights with friends. This landed me a job in the lighting department of the State Opera in Munich. Soon after, I enrolled in a BA program in theatre technology.
The program combined artistic and technical subjects, building on a mechanical engineering foundation with additional courses in set and light design. However, I quickly realized theatre wasn’t my domain and began exploring other fields that merged similar topics. I pivoted to product design, where I felt an immediate connection with both the field and its community.
After completing my MA in product design with a focus on Human-AI interaction, I now work as a designer, blending various media—from materials to electronics and code—developing stories and concepts, and creating both still and moving images. I continually work at the intersection of design, technology, and business, pushing boundaries to create something new and exciting.
